SLiRP is a SLIP/CSLIP emulator which allows users with normal shell accounts act as if they had a SLIP/CSLIP account. This allows users to use Netscape/Mosaic, ftp, telnet, etc. from their home machine, as if they had a real SLIP connection (with limitations). Please read the file README from the slirp package for a more verbose description. Older versions are in the directory "old" (incase the newer break something). Patches from the older versions to the current version are in the directory "patches". Dan ... danjo@blitzen.canberra.edu.au
